Andraea The gullible adventuress

Andraea is a simple naga and a typical denizen of the Felaryan woods. For many years, she's feasted on typical tinies (humans, nekos, smaller nagas, etc), however her diet has switched to mangoes after a certain "Incident" occurred. Said incident is responsible for the trauma that leads to her somewhat child-ish state of mind. She makes out the trauma to be a big deal, when in reality, it's just a simple insult that happens to be a lie.

Andraea is very self-concious about her appearance and desperately does what she can to maintain her physical appearance. She fears that the more humans, nekos, etc. she eats, the "Huskier" she'll get. If she eats a certain prey after promising not to harm one, she'll have nightmares haunt her about giantesses eating a shrunken version of her and feeling every burn of digestion as she dreams, ultimately wiping out her urge to vore smaller prey. (In lamen's terms, she learns that even smaller prey have feelings and fears just like she does, so she doesn't want to harm or kill them, even if it means a new meal)

She's also very social and friendly. Her initial predatory instincts may be frightening at first, but as long as you want to talk to her rather than harm her, she's 100% safe. (I.E. She will NOT vore you without your consent). Although, old habits are hard to break and she has had a habit of swallowing friends that she only wanted to taste. The stigma of living in Felarya (among the many voracious beings of her kind) even after her friendly change haunt her and make it hard for her to make friends with the prey she promised not to hurt, who fear they will end up as her next meal.

Her instinct is put towards another goal now that she's no longer hunting smaller prey. She instead chooses to protect the ones she finds. She also has a strange habit of collecting shiny things, hence her adventurous and out-going personality. Using knowledge and skills taught to her by her father (A human), she's learned many tricks and traps to ruins and dungeons. Also, while in a shrunken state (Covered later) she'll resort to using human weaponry to defend herself rather than brute force.

While treasure-hunting, she'll use her hunter instincts to figure out puzzles and traps. If there's a ruin that's human-sized, she'll an heirloom left to her by her father. A magical staff that allows her to become the size of a human so she can trek the dungeons as they were meant to be traversed, however, the staff requires at least one day to recharge, leaving her to be as vulnerable as any human-sized being in Felarya. In this regard, she doesn't mind putting her life on the line if something shiny is at the end of the tunnel. Although, this gullible thinking has gotten her into more trouble than she thought she could get into. Despite her weakness in this regard, she's an S-class treasure-hunter...even if she doesn't exactly know or care what special powers the treasures hold.

Strangely enough for a treasure-hunter, she doesn't know anything about monetary value. She only collects treasure for the sake of collecting shiny things. Her hidden horde contains things that range from highly valuable artifacts that can potentially turn nagas to humans, revive devoured prey (even after digestion), and artifacts that can destroy, rule, or save the world....to useless garbage like very shiny tin-cans, pennies, shiny bottlecaps, polished glass, clocks, chains, and even broken weapons. Because she has no grasp of the concept of "Money", she'll let anyone she deems a "Special friend" into her horde to take what they can carry.

Due to her heirloom's (the staff her father left her before "Disappearing") power, she can become as small as any ordinary human, however since this will lead to her being vulnerable, she'll be forced to use tactics even she's not used to. "Hiding" rather than "Hunting". Due to her bright colors, that is not an easy task. She'll prefer to bury herself in the roots of a tree until her staff's power is restored. As a back-up plan, she'll normally ask a fellow Felaryan (Giant or otherwise) to act as her back-up so she won't be slain so easilly. Because it is one of the few keepsakes her father left her, she'll be highly hesitant to let anyone hold it, even friends.

This gullibility is a blessing and a curse for both herself and the "Friend" as she unwittingly can lead someone to a powerful, world-threatening artifact. However, her "Friend" will have to trek through her massive horde of "Shiny things" to find what they're looking for. Andy's motto about treasure? "If it's shiny, it's worth taking"

It's rumored that her ancestors were banished from a land where the most holy of nagas could achieve a far greater form that rivals that of a goddess itself. It's also said that her ancestors were banished because of the role they played in the "Elven Massacre" 1000 years ago. Legend has it that due to her mother's blood and heritage, Andraea may one day transform into a rare and legendary "Quetzlcoatl naga" (or "Angel naga" by archivists), whom have rumored to have died out over 5 thousand years ago...
